The Power of TCW

Our best work involves developing holistic identity systems that integrate seamlessly across various mediums. We specialize in crafting dynamic systems that flow effortlessly across print, web, and motion. The most successful collaborations stem from early engagement, where we incorporate our unique blend of research, development, inspiration gathering, and presenting diverse directions at the outset of the design process. The end results are a testament to our process. Hit us up from the beginning.

This is how the magic happens

let us show you how we do it

a sneak peek at our approach

Fig 1. Initiate Research

#01

To initiate every project, we begin with an information gathering phase. In this initial step, we collect fragments of inspiration and potential design entry points. This involves a thorough discussion with the client, familiarizing ourselves with the product, and compiling design references related to typography, color, design systems, and overall aesthetic directions. The objective is to identify as many design opportunities as possible, which we will later group into conceptual directions.

Fig 2. Begin Clustering

#02

Phase two is when we begin to cluster. We gather our fragments of inspiration and begin sorting into conceptual categories. Separate ideas start to gravitate towards each other, creating loose design ecosystems. Ideas are no longer separate and desperate, but connected in various ways. We deliver these clusters as separate design directions, opening up different creative worlds that we can flesh out and develop.

Fig 3. Start Focusing

#03

In phase three, we focus on a chosen design direction and expand from there. Here, the direction is further developed and strengthened. Connections between deliverables are fortified and clarified. Colors, typography, and design aesthetics are unified, culminating in a cohesive and dynamic identity system.

Fig 4. Commence Delivery

#04

Lastly, our refined design ecosystem is delivered as a robust brand toolkit. The conceptual direction we’ve defined and expanded is solidified into brand guidelines, ready for use, alongside an organized folder of every asset, and our recommendations for deployment. While the design system might continue to evolve and expand in the future, the universe we’ve created is an exciting one, and one we’re thrilled to see inhabited.
